Our Story
Gabay Isko started as a freshie initiative project under UP ALYANSA's 3-week leadership program, Bida Isko, last July 8, 2020. However, given the need for basic student services at the time of the pandemic, Gabay Isko grew to become a UP system-wide organization based in UP Diliman. As to this date, we continue to grow with more members and local chapters in different UP campuses. Bound together by will and dedication, we, as student leaders, further our goal to not only be of help to fellow UP students but to empower them as well.

Gabay Isko envisions a healthy and empowering learning environment for all students of the University of the Philippines. We wish to have this vision realized by being the support system and guide of fellow Iskolars ng Bayan in their entry to the university and the rest of their college journey.
Our Mission
Our Mission
Gabay Isko advocates for student empowerment and the promotion of quality and accessible basic student services to all students in the UP System. As such, we continue to provide UP students with essential college-related information, processes, and materials through our helpdesk and initiatives, giving emphasis to the needs of incoming freshmen, shiftees, and transferees. We cater not only to existing students—undergraduate and graduate, or alumni—but also to aspiring and incoming students of the university.
