In line with Gabay Isko’s advocacy to provide accessible and basic student services to all Iskolar ng Bayan, the organization is slowly extending its roots to other UP constituent units. These include local chapters in UP Cebu, UP Los Baños, and UP Visayas. If your campus is still not covered, don’t worry as our main chapter in UP Diliman caters to all campuses and watch as the organization fully branches out to all campuses in the country in the near future!
Gabay Isko - UP Cebu is a local chapter of the Gabay Isko System exclusively operating in the University of the Philippines Cebu. We advocate for quality and accessible basic student services and student empowerment for all UP students, especially incoming FSTs. We aim to guide and support our fellow Iskolars-ng-Bayan in UPC as an autonomous body from Gabay Isko System.
Gabay Isko - UP Los Baños, also known as GABI-UPLB, is a local chapter of Gabay Isko - UP System which aims to serve the constituents of the University of the Philippines Los Baños. The establishment of the organization began in July 2021 through a core team composed of nine members and two chapter coordinators. In December 2021, the socio-civic organization gained its certificate of official registration from the UPLB Office of Student Activities. Currently, the organization has 29 registered members and two advisers, Mr. John Carlo Santos and Mr. Marc Stanley Mozo. It is also a part of the Public Service and Extension Cluster of UPLB OSA along with other organizations in the campus.
Gabay Isko - UP Visayas Chapter is one of the first ever local chapters of Gabay Isko. The local chapter officially launched itself last Feb 15, 2022. It comprises 3 UP Visayas campuses located in Iloilo City, Miag-ao, Iloilo, and Tacloban City. With that said, its Board of Directors and Chapter Members are also from the 3 different UP Visayas campuses. Since the organization is a local chapter of Gabay Isko, it is aligned with the Mission, Vision, and Goals of the said system-wide organization. The organization advocates for quality and accessible basic student services and student empowerment for Freshies, Shiftees, Transferees, and current students of UP Visayas. It also entails a helpdesk wherein aspiring and current students of UP Visayas can ask their queries and clarifications.
