Age groups for the Winter 2026 Season are as follows:

Basketball seasons

Summer (School terms 4 & 1)   |   Winter (School terms 2 & 3)

Age group eligibility

U10s - born 2017 or later

U12s - born 2015/2016

U14s - born 2013/2014

U16s - born 2011/2012

U18s - born 2009/2010

Seniors - born 2008 or earlier

Over 35s

Please note basketball age groups are different from some other sports. 

For example: To be eligible for U12s, your child needs to be under 12 years of age for the entire year the season runs.
