Please note: basketball age groups are different from some other sports, e.g., to be eligible for U12s, your child needs to be under 12 years of age for the entire year the season runs. Please contact us to check if unsure.
U10s - born 2017 or later
U12s - born 2015/2016
U14s - born 2013/2014
U16s - born 2011/2012
U18s - born 2009/2010
Seniors - born 2008 or earlier
Over 35s - born 1990 or earlier
Monday: U12B, U14G, U16/18G, A Men, B Men
Tuesday: U10G, U14B, U18B, A Women
Wednesday: U12G, U16B, B Women, Over 35 Men
Thursday: U10B, C Men, D Men, E Men
Times vary between 5pm and 10pm, dependent on age group (younger grades play first).
Player fees are made up of three parts...
76ers club fee of $85.00 per season, paid via Basketball Connect. If eligible, a Sports Voucher can be used to cover this cost only.
Basketball SA insurance cost (annual), paid when registering via Basketball Connect.
A player ticket fee (weekly) of $7 - $10 depending on age group, paid upon entry at St Francis. Spectators are free of charge.
Training is held at St Francis de Sales Community Sports Centre on Sundays. We strongly encourage attending training to develop your skills and make new friends! Please bring along a basketball and a water bottle - some additional basketballs are available if you don't have your own.
4:00 - 5:00pm | U10/U12 boys and ALL girls (boys and girls will split if numbers & space permits)
5:00 - 6:00pm | U14/U16/U18 boys and ALL seniors
We provide a playing singlet to be used for the duration of the season - this is to be returned to your coach after your final game. Please ensure you have your own navy blue shorts, no pockets - these can be purchased from SPORTFIRST Mount Barker.
