Under GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data Future Options holds about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; and request a copy of your data in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland's supervisory authority) at www.dataprotection.ie if you believe your data has been mishandled.



Data Concerning Minors


Many Future Options clients are under 18. Where a client is a minor, Future Options relies on the consent of a parent or guardian to process the minor's personal data, including assessment results and consultation notes. Parents/guardians may exercise any of the rights listed above on behalf of their child. Future Options takes particular care with data arising from psychometric or personality assessments completed by minors and limits its use strictly to the purpose of career guidance.

Future Options may ask you for, or you may voluntarily submit, personally identifiable information when you are using the Service. The personally identifiable information which you may provide could include, but is not limited to:

Future Options will only use your personally identifiable information as described below, unless you have specifically consented to another type of use, either at the time the personally identifiable information is collected from you or through some other form of consent from you or notification to you:

 

Security:

The security of your personally identifiable information is very important to Future Options. When Future Options collects your personally identifiable information,  reasonable efforts are made to protect it from unauthorised access.  However, due to the inherent open nature of the Internet, Future Options cannot guarantee that your personally identifiable information will be completely free from unauthorised access by third parties such as hackers, and your use of the Future Options Service demonstrates your assumption of this risk.  Future Options has put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the information collected. All laptops and electronic devices where this information is stored, are password protected. All information provided by you is permanently deleted one month after your appointment. This one-month deletion does not apply to testimonials or reviews that clients have separately and explicitly posted on Google Reviews or sent by email to be published on this website. Such testimonials are retained until the client requests removal.

As a convenience to you, Future Options may provide links to third-party websites in career guidance reports. Future Options is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. 

 

Communications with Future Options:

By providing your contact information to Future Options (including, without limitation, your email address, physical address and phone number) (collectively the “Channels”) to Future Options, you expressly consent to receive communications from Future Options.  Future Options may use the Channels to communicate with you, to send information that you have requested or to send information about other products or services developed or provided by Future Options.

Future Options will not give your contact information to another party to promote their products or services directly to you without your consent or as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

By providing your phone number to Future Options, you expressly consent to receive phone calls and / or text messages and / or WhatsApp messages from Future Options. Future Options will not give your phone number to another party to promote their products or services directly to you without your consent or as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Any phone calls and / or text messages delivered to your phone or device may cause you to incur extra data, text messaging, or other charges from your phone provider. Network message and data limits may apply on mobile networks. You are solely responsible for any carrier charges incurred as a result of phone and / or text communications from Future Options.

Any communication or material you transmit to Future Options by email or otherwise, including any data, questions, comments, suggestions, or the like is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary, except to the extent expressly covered by this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not create rights enforceable by third parties, nor does it require disclosure of any personal information relating to users of the Service.

As part of the consultation, you may be asked to complete assessments through third-party platforms such as PeopleHawk, Careers Portal, and Truity. Future Options does not request or store your login credentials for these platforms; instead, results are shared directly by you or via the platform's own sharing function. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of these third parties independently.

Governing Law: 

This Privacy Policy and our legal obligations hereunder are subject to the laws of the Republic of Ireland regardless of your location. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of and venue in the courts located in the Republic of Ireland, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the services provided by Future Options.
