In early October 2017 the TG clan was formed by Tgetety along with Pepetty and Quacko. It was meant to be a small clan with only professional players and friends inside it. There were only 4 -5 members in it that were mostly friends of Tgetety. However, no one was aware of how big this clan would become in the future, and shape the history of clans in erth.io.
In late October a new small clan came into erth.io, the KINGS clan. Tgetety wanted to make peace with the KINGS clan, but the KINGS clan wanted a clan war. The two members of the KINGS clan attacked Tgetety, Quacko, and Pepetty as zen monk killing both. Tgetety came back in as zen monk and destroyed the forces of the KINGS clan, which made the KINGS clan members online leave and never come back on erth.io that day. The TG clan did multiple attacks on the KINGS clan in erth.io until they left erth.io and didn't come back again therefore surrendering to the TG clan.
In November 2017 Tgetety changed his name into Future, and changed TG clan into FT clan. It was mistaken that Tgetety and Future are different people. Clans still were not a big thing in erth.io at this time. Not many people were in clans or knew of clans still.
In late November the developers introduced a capture the flag mode. Half of the erth.io player base left erth.io, but many people replaced the people who had left.
Orio, a friend in real life of Future created his own clan called DD. By now the only members in FT were Future, Tidepods (who was Pepetty before), Quacko, and 2 other people. The DD clan had more members in it than FT, but the FT clan had more skilled players. During the timespan of a week all the DD clan members were converted into FT clan members which tripled the amount of players FT had in it. No one else heard of the DD clan war because clans were still a little thing at the time. A FT discord server was started up during this time.
Some time later, Future let a member named Raja into FT clan. There was another group of people named Puppy Queen and Lollipop. They were the second people to get the dragon skin in erth.io (after Future) so Future decided to talk to them. A few days later they had created their own clan called ROYAL and were asking everyone to join. They stole the member Raja from FT which sparked up a clan war. FT clan declared war on ROYAL clan.
After a week, ROYAL clan had become the biggest clan in erth.io with over 20 members. FT clan attacked members of the ROYAL clan. They were spawn killing them in order to change them into FT clan members. After the attacks most of the ROYAL clan members switched onto the FT side of the war. The ROYAL clan was still recruiting new members and FT was fighting off the new members until all the active players joined FT. FT had won the first part of the war.
FT clan's military might wasn't used that much in the second part of the war. Instead, spies were sent out to gather information about the ROYAL clan. Many operations took place to split up the clan. In February 2018, the leaders of the ROYAL clan disappeared, and so did all the members. It was thought that FT had won the war, but that wasn't true. ROYAL clan members showed up again in a month signifying that the war wasn't over.
A HAMT clan was created by Hardi-awesome and OOF so FT and ROYAL clan could make peace. This unfortunately ended in ROYAL surrendering to FT clan.
The developer finally got to returning FFA mode to erth.io after many requests were given to change erth.io back to FFA.
Around a month after FFA was reintroduced, the leaders of ROYAL clan surrendered to FT clan, ending the longest clan war in erth.io.
When FFA was reintroduced, the FT clan took its place as the dominant clan in erth.io. There were a few other clans around that either were very small or just lasted for a week. Half of the day FT clan members were playing as #1 on the in game leaderboards. There were no other problems or conflicts with other clans during this period.
In August 2018, a new update was introduced to erth.io. But most of FT had gotten bored of erth.io and left erth.io temporarily. After this there were no dominant clans in erth.io. Erth.io started having updates again for about a month and the last major update which was introduced was on September 2018 which added new classes including, flower mage, orb sage, champion and hero.
Bree23, a friend of FT clan had a large team with friends that she made in erth.io. After a couple of weeks someone in the team suggested to turn the team into a clan because it was basically a clan. The idea got around and Bree23 created the S clan. Many people tried to join S clan because it was the biggest team with the best players in it. S clan was inspired by FT clan and had many of the same aspects as FT clan.
In early December 2018 a new update launched including some wall glitch changes, nerfs and a spin knight buff. This update was meant to balance the game but it did not succeed well. Spin knight was now one of the best classes and could easily kill any other melee class. Paladin and champion got a minor nerf but are still over powered.
Former FT members banded up and created a secret ANTI-S clan led by Future and Tidepods. Many people who despised S clan joined ANTI-S. The ANTI-S clan was based of discord members, where no S members were which made it ideal to have there. Since S clan was unorganized, didn't war with other clans and was cruel to most people, it was hated and made it easy to rebel against. A lot of attacks took place on S clan. This was also the time when sniper farms became a thing, allowing people to get incredibly high scores, which were discovered by Future.
S clan died down to the 3 important factors listed in the previous paragraph. Many small clans formed and resisted S clan. The biggest small clan was WT, and the leader was Xykor. After this the game went dead because there weren't any big clans to keep people interested. ANTI-S also died with S clan because its sole purpose was to kill S clan. Since ANTI-S was created by FT members, FT technically killed S clan. ANTI-S also brought a few loyal players to FT clan.
After S clan died it allowed smaller clans to take over. WT was the biggest of the smallest clans that emerged after S clan. WT was hated by a few people that attacked members in erth.io constantly. WT clan soon turned into NEO clan. There were many discord server raids on WT clan led by FatSoFred with Crabcakes and Quacko in them too. Future at this time was trying to get leader and shut down the clan from the inside but WT clan died anyways and turned into NEO clan.
In September 2019, the leaders of FT were thinking about bringing FT back. There had to be many preparations. Many documents were created to keep FT clan organized and prepared for any enemy clan attacks and clan wars. FT clan was going to use a fake clan, BCE to get it to top before changing to FT, but that idea was scrapped. All the higher FT senate members were notified and the senate of FT was reconstructed.
A large plan was written out that would revive FT and make sure everyone in it would be loyal to the clan. A new clan, BCE (best clan ever, random name) was deployed for this mission and not named FT in case it failed. The purpose of the plan was to target the dominant clan, WT at this time, and take it down, gaining loyal members along the way. WT was not big enough, and if it was, Future wouldn't have done it because Future became friends with Xykor and didn't feel like betraying him.
FT clan was reintroduced in early October 2019 officially by Future. It quickly escalated in clan members and made erth.io alive again. The FT clan website was published again for people to look at. The many documents of the FT clan kept it organized and held plans and operations for uses in the future. FT clan is split into separate branches, the CIEA (in charge of spying and intelligence), the senate (in charge of changing things in the clan to make it better) and the military (erth.io offensive and defensive). Some operations took place to render the new FT clan unstoppable. By the end of October, FT clan reached 30 members.
(This FT clan is the same as the old one and it's website is the one that this is written on).
