Rebuttal Speech

Ok, we all know how this game goes. Somebody is gonna talk trash about someone else in their paragraph then use it as an example of why they are better. So, I figured I would do it first to avoid the issue. First, I’ll start with Wyatt… Let’s not forget how he left FT just because Crab was Salty, and how he doxxed Crab Cakes. Next, I’ll go to Jexmas. You all might not know this but after Jexmas got his third strike, he asked Quacko about it and got his roles back, and his 3rd strike removed. The only reason he did this is that he felt that since he got his 3rd strike by using bot commands in a chat not designated for them that it was unfair to him, even though in the channel description, it says “No bot commands or warn”. This is significant to the election and my rebuttal because it shows that he does not always follow the rules. Next, I’ll go to MagicKraken, Who, I don't have any issues with. This is because of the fact that he has always obeyed the rules and we have been friends for some time now, in fact, if I wasn't in the election I would vouch for him because I think he would do a great job. The only issue I would really say he has is that he is, very impatient with some things…or at least to my knowledge he is. Finally, there is Piggie or Porkchops. Farther back in time when I was in WT or NEO, Piggie and I had our issues but nothing too serious. Piggie and I are now friends and we no longer have any issues. So, like MagicKraken I would vouch for him if I wasn't in the race for senate. This is my Rebuttal Speech and I am Pink cup, Thank you for this opportunity to become Senate.

Opening Speech

Good Afternoon, thankyou for giving me this opportunity. My name is Zomb.ie. I am a representative for the FT clan and believe that I am ready to help this clan achieve more by becoming Senate. I have been in FT for almost a year now and have seen it grow and evolve. Through this time I have picked up some tips and ideas from past/present senate and above members. If I am elected I would try my best to use these tips and ideas to my advantage and hopefully, help FT grow and become a better clan. If I am elected, I would make it my duty to help any FT member in need and do my part in Senate as good as I can. So please, remember that together we can strive farther. Again, thankyou for giving me this opportunity to be come senate.

I would like to vouch for Pink Cup in the race for senate. This member is very active in the clans duties and deserves a place in representing us. They are a kind and thoughtful individual with many leadership qualities. Not to mention they are already hold a high ranking position in the clan. Opening Speech:

People of FT Clan, I am here today to present myself as a future member of the senate. I have multiple points prepared on why I am a good candidate for this senate position.

1. I have extensive knowledge of FT clan itself, and do news to make sure we stay up to date on erth.io events. If we are not up to date, other clans will plot against us and try to infiltrate us.

2. I bring new ideas to the table frequently. With these new ideas, we can streamline how we do things here in FT clan and make sure that we do things effectively and efficiently. I will also make lots of changes when I am in office.

3. I am not biased during official arguments toward a certain person. I try to take both points of views into account and make sure that trials are fair.

Things that I will accomplish in the Senate:

1. Making a new system of command, in which senate members preside over members and commanders in FT clan. We will split into groups, where each senator is in charge of the group's ideas and discipline.

2. Creating an environment which is non-toxic, not just advertised as non-toxic like crayons, but seriously non-toxic. People who are extremely rude or disrespectful to their leaders will be disciplined.

3. Making FT more fun! (lmao sounds fun :D)

To conclude, FT would be a better place with my new ideas, knowledge and leadership skills.

4. Reviving erth and FT and making it great again! (Lol)

I am here to revive what was great. Under me, erth and FT would not be on the decline, thanks to my recruiting plan. I am here to Make All of us Think Harder (MATH) (Don't worry you don't have to do math.)

Rebuttal

Fellow members of FT! Today I am giving this speech concerning the rebuttal portion of the debate. I will briefly go over the issues and problems of each of the member’s claims. As this is a necessary component of the debate, I hope my fellow competitors will not take any offense to anything I am about to say, as each and every one of them are excellent and dedicated people to FT clan.

Pink cup/zomb.ie: Pink cup has quite a strong opening speech, although it sometimes includes a grammatical error or a spelling error. He has provided excellent examples of what he is about to do if he becomes senate, which gives me the impression that he put effort into thinking about his claims. However, the errors in spelling and grammar may hint at the dearth of revising and editing his paragraph. Other than that, I believe that his claims are correct and truthful.

Piggie: I find his opening speech quite impressive, however, it may be too extensive. To simplify this, he has inserted too many words into his opening speech. Some of the claims and punishments are from time to time severe and unnecessary. Apart from that, his occasional effort at humor is sometimes effective, but other times hindering, an example being ‘3. Making FT more fun! (lmao sounds fun :D)’, where he did not put any description as to what he will do, but rather replacing the description as a seemingly comical remark. Other than this, however, I find his opening speech splendid, and it is clear that he has put in much effort into the making of it.

Jexmas: His opening speech is quite without reason and category, in which reason and category are the very things that defines an effective opening speech. Using the fact that he is bipolar, Jex is trying to take credit of that in his speech, which is completely unrelated to the opening speech. I do not really see the point of mentioning that in his opening speech, as well as the evident lack of grammar and logic in his opening speech.

Wyatt: Wyatt’s opening speech is short, effective and gets right to the point. His speech has some weaker points, an example being the use of sentence fragments. Sentence fragments can be useful in some scenarios, however are not promoted in the making of opening speeches in debates. Additionally, some of the language he uses aren’t up to debate standard, and example being the overuse of ‘you’, as we can see from this excerpt from his paragraph: ‘Also, I will try to teach you things you don’t know’. Other than that, I believe his opening speech is efficient and easy to read, as well as pleasant to the eye. In conclusion, I believe that I am able to provide the clan with some unique benefits to myself, especially since we are perhaps expanding to other games as well. I believe that the clan will be prosperous and happy, and will attract more members, if we are not toxic and polite to all. I will reduce doxxing and toxicity to a minimum, as well as expand our clan to further the good of FT. Thank you for listening.

Opening Speech

Hello fellow senators, representatives, co leaders and leaders of FT. Today I will be presenting some reasons why I believe I will make a good senator. In this heading paragraph, I shall be presenting the brief summary of the arguments I possess for the campaign. Firstly, it is safe to say that I have the very important quality of loyalty to the clan. I have never associated with any enemy clans, and followed every rule as well as the code of conduct for FT clan. Secondly, I believe that I have all the qualifications to join the senate. I am diligent, positive, intelligent as well as being a relatively decent range of time being in the clan (4 months). I am also active, which is required for a senator, as they need to keep up with newly released information from the clan, as well as being active on erth, the very game FT started out from. Lastly, I have never doxxed, and is almost never toxic or salty, even to enemies or former enemies, which is an important trait, so that people know they can trust me.
