Canadian Parents for French is an organization that was created by parents who were looking to support their children in the French program. Their website contains valuable resources for parents, teacher and students. They organize meetings, events for families and French contests. Many schools have a Canadian Parents for French Chapter or Parent Organization that works with the school.
