Welcome to "FSL Connection", a page that is designed for primary French as a Second Language Teachers. This page is all about fostering meaningful connections between teachers and parents of student in the primary years of French Immersion. As primary French as a Second Language Educators, we face unique challenges because our students are just beginning to learn the French Language and develop their linguistic skills. The majority of parents do not speak French but want to help their child as they progress in their French Language journey. This website is deigned for early French Immersion teachers that are looking at ways to improve their School Home connection with the families in their class. This page is created so that French Immersion teachers have access to resources that they can share with non-French speaking parents to help them feel more comfortable supporting their child at home.
