Welcome to "House of Failure" - an exhibition presented by the HKUST Counseling and Wellness Center in collaboration with the Museum of Epic Failure, incubated by the Asia Pacific Youth Development Foundation (AYF). Come explore this unique exhibition which celebrates the positive transformative power of failure and vulnerability!

In life, success and failure are intertwined. Embracing mistakes and facing our feelings crafts us into tougher and more understanding souls. "House of Failure" aims to catalyze personal growth, psychological resilience, and empathy through shared narratives. It provides a platform for members of HKUST, including faculty, staff, students, and alumni, to share their stories of failure and growth, inspiring and connecting individuals who have faced similar challenges. These stories are either "in progress" or "completed". When placed side by side, it is hoped that the neighboring "completed" stories can encourage and inspire those facing ongoing struggles.

On our website, you can find the stories in their raw, unedited form, honoring their authenticity and integrity. On the display panels, you can find condensed versions of selected narratives, while personal reflections and the valuable lessons reside as take-away stub notes. Feel free to bring these little treasures of inspiration back home.

Accessibility lies at our core. QR codes enable visitors with diverse needs to magnify text on our website and we've introduced a dyslexia-friendly font on the display panels to ensure everyone can enjoy these stories with ease and joy.
