PERSONAL AND WORK, IN SEPARATE SPACES
Magpie gives you two distinct spaces, and you choose which to open each time you start it.
Personal (My Nest) is for your belongings, keepsakes, pets, plants, hobbies and everyday life.
Work (Registry) is a dedicated space for clients, projects, equipment and professional records, with its own clean, light appearance.
Each space keeps its own collections, so you can organise both parts of your life without them getting tangled together. When you want to find something, you can search just one collection, one space, or everything.

Your records belong to you.

• No internet permission
Magpie doesn't send your records to a server. Your device's own backup settings may separately back up app data.
YOUR DATA, YOUR BACKUPS
Magpie gives you control over protecting your records.
• Back Up Everything creates a backup file you can keep somewhere safe
• Save a copy to your Documents folder, or share it using another app such as email or cloud storage
• Daily restore points provide additional on-device protection
• Preview a backup before importing it
• Restoring a backup first keeps a copy of your existing records
Keeping a backup somewhere outside the app is important. Uninstalling Magpie or clearing its app data removes the records stored on your device, so save a separate backup to protect the things you've recorded.
START YOUR WAY
Begin with an empty collection and build your own little world of records, or explore Magpie with optional example entries.
When you're ready, Remove Example Records in Settings clears away the examples you haven't changed. Anything you've added or edited stays, and removed examples can be brought back from Recently Deleted.
Whether you're remembering a warranty, caring for a plant, managing a project or preserving the history of something precious, Magpie gives everything its own place.
