Go through the gates for Johnston Recreation Ground (between the school and the GP surgery) and follow the path which bends between the play area and the allotments. At the end you will see a gate and sign saying "Jackson’s Pond". Go through the gate, around or across the bridge. Keep going and you will come out in the meadow with the community orchard to your right.
