Volunteer Sessions

We have regular volunteer sessions on the first Sunday of each month where we do a range of tasks including planting, cutting back brambles, hedge laying and improving the entrances.  You do not need any special knowledge, just an interest in the Meadow.  We are an informal group and work is allocated according to people's interests and abilities.  Some people like to work hard, others to take a more relaxed approach.

Meet in the orchard at 10.30am on the first Sunday of each month, weather permitting.  In Winter months we often also meet on the third Sunday.  The sessions last until approximately 12 noon.  If you have suitable tools (secateurs, pruners, trowels etc) bring them along.  We do have a few that we can lend.  Suitable gardening gloves and stout footwear are also recommended.
