Like most grass-roots efforts, Friends of Bixby Park is relying solely on support from friends and neighbors to assist us in restoring and rejuvenating one of Long Beach's oldest and best-loved public parks.

With generous support from our community, we've purchased new historic light posts and park benches on Parcel One and planted new gardens around the Rec Center, Children's Playground the fountain in Parcel One. We create events that are free to the public, and designed to encourage kids to respect nature and the environment through arts and crafts.
