Part of the Girl Scout Law asks us to "Use Resources Wisely." It was important to us to "reduce, reuse, and recycle." Although we had saved some of our cookie sale money, we knew that wouldn't cover the total expense of the project. So, the first thing that came to mind was Buy Nothing Wilton. Ryann, Brianna, and I brainstormed what materials we would need that people might have at home. Even though no one had what we were looking for, one family had an old cold frame that we were able to use for design ideas. But we were shocked to hear that many Wilton residents wanted to donate money to our project! Mr. Andy Schlesinger, founder of Wilton Rocks for Food, donated $150 for us to buy materials!
