The Scholarship Fund was created in 1992 to benefit the employees of Freedom Plaza. So far, the fund has provided over $1,000,000 to cover educational expenses for our employees. The Scholarship Fund Board of Directors awards scholarships to both hourly and salaried associates in the amount of $3,000.00 in May of each year. Students may apply for subsequent award years.  It is not unusual for an employee to receive up to five (5) scholarships.  The selection committee can award scholarships in excess of five.
