Eligibility and Requirements

Current Freedom Plaza employees who will have accrued 200 hours during the 2024 calendar year 

Recommended by their supervisor

Supervisors who have employees who are interested in applying, and are otherwise eligible, but who, as scheduled, will not reach the 200-hour threshold are encouraged to provide additional hours, if the employee desires, can be effectively used, and that the increased hours do not adversely impact employee performance of duties

Received a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.00

Applied/Accepted for 2025 academic year attendance at a junior college, college, university, trade school, or an equivalent school

If already in a collegiate program, must maintain a minimum 2.00 GPA

Ensure each eligible person is aware of the scholarship program, the eligibility criteria, the application process, and the selection/interview process
