Many overlap meditation and Yoga Nidra, but there are key differences. Meditation is relaxation with awareness.
While Yoga Nidra involves moving into a deeper state of conscious awareness. In this state, the consciousness is awake while the mind and body rest, allowing for deep healing.
It's not unheard of to "wake up" after a session feeling as if you've just woken up from the best sleep of your life.
