EzyGraph is an AI-Powered tool capable of turning text based input into automatically generated infographics containing the main concepts in an appealing way. It is capable of managing URLs, articles or brief descriptions of the topic. A translation service is also available if the user needs one. The usage of this tool is free and only requires a Sign Up with an e-mail account. A premium subcription can be paid to unlock new features.
This fast way of portraying information from long walls of texts seems to be an accessible way of creating visually appealing presentations without the requirement of devoting a lot of time creating it. The use of infographics for teaching purposes has been noted to be useful since it displays difficult and complex information in an easy and clear way by converting a huge amount of data into images and graphics (Samra, 2021). It has been noted that with the improvement of AI-generated content, users have been slowly losing the capability of distinguishing AI-made summaries from Human-made ones (Karell et. al., 2024). Even though the pros of using AI to generate material makes it seem like it will eventually replace human-made content, researchers are still finding that students find original content more compelling and understandable in most cases (Koraishi & Karatepe, 2025).
This activity can function in conjunction with the one proposed on the QuillBot section. In this example the main source of information requested will come as the result of using another AI tool. This can be adapted to any type of subject that the teacher desires to base their lesson on.
After adquiring a summary of their selected music genre, Students will be tasked to create and share with the rest of the class an infographic containing the main features of their chosen topic.
In their previously selected groups the students will:
Decide and compromise as a group which details are the most relevant to be shared.
By using the help of EzyGraph, the group will choose from the desings presented to them the one they like the most.
Once they have decided on a design, they will share the infographic coupled with a song they want to share and a paragraph with their opinion highlighting the appeal of the selected genre.
The benefits of creating infographics with the help with AI should be understood by the teachers when thinking of what the UNESCO (2024) Framework identifies as "AI Pedagogy". Teachers are expected identify and balance the pedagogical benefits of AI tools while mitigating the risks (p. 30). Teachers might have to ponder if the expedited creative process is worth leaving the selection of the most relevant data to an AI tool.
