Canteen/ Five Oaks Park

The Canteen was built by the city of Russellville on Washington Avenue on the Moody Lot to give teenagers a place to meet and hold dances and other social events. It was under the management of the Park and Recreation Board. It was constructed in 1947 and officially opened to the public on July 9, 1947.
