How my music journey began
When I was in grade school, we'd have this mini show before the class officially starts, and I'd get chosen to sing in a trio, duet, or even solo. I remember singing "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus with my best friends, a couple of worship songs, and the infamous High School Musical songs. I always thought it was nothing special and that it wasn't a big deal because back then, it didn't matter as much as the grades. Back then, if you get straight 90s on your report card, you're the thing! Little did I know that I'll get to sing once more in another mini show on the first day of class in high school and THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING.
Next thing I know, I get to be the music director of every class presentations, school shows, and I even got into the school THEATER CLUB. The most memorable thing I've ever experienced as a musical director was having the chance to perform as a musical director and as a singer for a big school production back in 2013 called SIDLAKAN. I get to perform with such cool and talented individuals and I'm beyond grateful for having the privilege to be part of this artful day.

Joining the theater was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my entire life. Not only did I meet wonderful and talented individuals, but I also got to work with them and grow with them, forming not just a bond but a family we'll treasure forever.
Meeting my best friend
High school was also the time I met this very inspiring human being who taught me to write music. Her name is Rosalyn Mae Ferrer, and she is one of my best friends and will forever be my sister. Back when I couldn't map my music journey out, she was the one who showed me a direction. She taught me how to compose songs and we started a band together. Writing originals with her was one of the best moments of my life. We even got to perform those originals on stage and even birthday parties of our friends. She helped me grow as a musician and taught me a lot of life lessons - even basic piano lessons. To me, she's a friend and a teacher and I owe her half of who I am today. She's one of the core reasons for my love and passion for music.
This is Eunoia, our band founded in 2016. Kit Justin Dominguito (drummer), Nina Grashielle Secriz (lead guitar), Rosalyn Mae Ferrer (Rhythm & Piano), Mary Rose Orozco (bassist) and Me as the vocalist. This was when we recorded our first song "Dream Once Again".

Our days as a band were one of the best experiences and we owe it to Mr. Christopher Racal for giving us the opportunity to record and produce our music.
The people that became part of my music journey
Rosalyn and I have met several people to join our band even prior to Eunoia but only the two of us remained intact for years. The hardest part about gathering together a group of people you'd get to call a family is growing up and growing apart from them. We were teens back then and we knew nothing about the world or how it would turn out for each of us. We had a hard time facing and embracing the future for it showed us how many people we could only fit within our arms and hold onto forever, and the rest we needed to let go. It was tough for both of us to grow apart from those people but we swore by our graves never to forget the those we met along the way that brought harmony to our lives.
The Present
My band and I grew apart and took on different career paths as time passed. Juggling my studies, my career, and my passion, I remained loyal to my craft as always and continued to write original songs until now.
Currently, I am in the works of my first Album with the help of my awesome and talented friend Frank Baladjay. The album will be out soon!
After a traumatic relationship, I found my path to freedom and back to myself. As I moved past the darkest of my days, I encountered a few humps on the road but I met someone who lit the way and kept me company. His love was different and reviving and I found myself out of words for how new it was to me. He showed me more than just my path - he showed me the world when I was too blinded by my pain. To my companion who buried my past behind and helped me step forward for the future, this song is for you.
There are people who leave us out of the blue and then come back when it's convenient for them. I found it only right to write about the perspective of someone who has left behind. Starting from the burden of missing the one who left, the enduring love that was never met half way, and that feeling you get when that someone suddenly comes back like nothing ever happened wrong. I had to write it down for everyone to hear.
