Why Join F-SEPAC?
Joining F-SEPAC is a great way to connect with other families, gain insights, and support your child’s education — and you don’t have to attend every meeting or event to be a member. Participate whenever your schedule allows, whether that’s joining a playground meet-up, attending a coffee hour, participating in an informational and programing meeting or tuning into a quarterly general meeting.
Event Highlights:
Playground Meet-Ups: Bring your children and meet other parents while the kids play. Check ParentSquare, our mailing list, or Facebook for the latest schedule.
Parent Coffee Hours: Join us for a casual chat in a supportive environment on the first Friday of each month from 9:15–10:15 a.m. at B-Sisters Cafe, 680 Worcester Rd., Framingham, MA 01702.
Informational and Programming Meetings: These meetings cover topics of interest to families (sped ed topics, middle school transition, esy programming, etc). We encourage you to let us know if there’s a specific topic you’d like us to host.
Quarterly General Meetings: Learn about the SEPAC advocacy efforts, and gain insight about supports, and resources from fellow families of students with special needs.
Your engagement is essential in shaping F-SEPAC advocacy. Board members meet monthly with the Special Education Director and Assistant Director, bringing forward questions, concerns, and priorities from families across all our schools, including in-district programs and out-of-district placements. We can only know what is happening across the district — the programs, services, and needs — if families share their perspectives.
Being part of F-SEPAC allows you to make a difference in your child’s educational experience and in the broader district community. By sharing your voice, you help ensure that every family’s perspective is elevated in our advocacy efforts.
