Forest stewardship is a practice that involves the management and care of forests to ensure they remain healthy and productive. It encompasses a range of activities, including timber harvesting, reforestation, and the preservation of wildlife habitats. Forest stewards work to maintain the ecological balance of forests, protect water and air quality, and provide recreational opportunities. They also contribute to the overall health of the environment and the economy by sequestering carbon, generating oxygen, and filtering the air.
