Justice's History Lesson

Justice wants you to know that the first courthouse in Forsyth was made of logs. The original log courthouse was transformed into a brick building in 1896 in the Victorian style. The courthouse, that serves as the center of the square today, has been retrofitted with state of the art security and storage while preserving the amazing original woodwork of the courtrooms and tin tile ceilings. In addition, the building closest to Justice's lair is the former site of Trio Manufacturing one of the earlier industries of Forsyth which began in 1899 manufacturing string. Justice also wants you to know that the pioneer residents of Forsyth were: John E. Bailey, Anderson Baldwin, Henry H. Lumpkin, James Phillips, and Samuel Drewry.
