I taught two classes on Wednesday the 8th and we discussed the importance of food waste! We wanted to see the impact of our involvement so we accessed the students knowledge before and after with a pre and post quiz.

• The result of the class showed that students had a 45% average increase on the quiz after our presentation! Witch is double what they had scored before.

• The average on the pre quiz was a 45 and the post quiz had the average of a 90%

In addition to the quizzes we also had the students take an environmental consciousness survey after our presentation:

87% CHANGE IN UNDERSTANDING RATE!!

• 9% said that they compost currently

• 77.5% said that they are going to try composting now

• 31.5% said that our presentation inspired them to take action to save the planet other than food waste

• 94% said that enjoyed our presentation

• 100% said that they felt we told them at least one thing that did not previously know
