the starting weights and measurements of the bin and garden:
compost bin: 7ft 2in by 5ft 6in
garden :7ft 2in by 12 ft 7in
compost weight: about 30 pounds of landscaping waste that was necessary to clear space for the bin.

The average weight of the bucket per week was 4.1 lbs in October. This means that the projected amount of food saved over the next 3 months is about 60 pounds more of the compostable material.
explanation:
4.8 lbs per week x 4 weeks x 3 months = 57.6 lbs of food waste
From September 22, 2019 to October 19, 2019 the compost bin saved about 21 pounds of food. At the end of these measurements in the next 3 months acording to these measurements, we will save about 63 more pounds of food waste from the landfill in the next 3 months.
