This research is the collaboration between Japan and Sweden. We develop and improve the robot ( the eating aid device) with multipurpose gripper and vision system to value whether frail elderly people can eat meals independently and take enough nutrition. The purpose is to enhance the independent life of frail elderly people and improve their state of nutrition in Sweden and Japan.
