Your actions: Mutual Aid
People acting in small ways makes all the difference in building community.
Your time: Volunteer
Your time and help with delivery of food is needed by these organizations!
Californians for All Our statewise volunteer corps! Organizes and shares information about opportunities throughout the state during COVID-19, including food banks.
California Food Banks Every food bank is different, search for your local food bank, then go to their volunteer page to find out where you can help.
Masks for Healthcare Workers
See KQED's list on where to donate for up to date information on drop-off sites.
Note that we have chosen not to offer resources on where to donate food, as high level safety protocols are in effect for this. Many many organizations are working together across the bay to collect extra food and distribute to those in need!
This is a shared project of local leaders with experience in the Bay Area food system committed to sharing information to help us act.
