📌The cha cha step is always fun!!

KB/DB (no swings), band, mini loop band, booty band
💬 This one is all strength with quite a bit of glutes (especially the glute med that helps support the low back). To get the full glute emphasis you're going to need the booty band as well as the mini loop band. Both are economical and easy to store. You can find the ones I use here: FitFavs - SS

stability ball
📌 It is technically a BASIC30 modified workout, but I also give progressions and advanced moves that will suit any fitness level. Everyone is welcome to play!!
______________________________
KB/DBm-h, slam ball/pill, optional bench
📌 This workout is designed for both BASIC30 and FitCamp45. The first 30 minutes will work for both fitness levels as I will give modifications and progressions to each exercise. At about 25 minutes, I will instruct the B30 group to fast forward to the cool down and then I'll ramp up the pace to a strong finisher mode for those wanting a little extra in their 45 minute workout. You need one weight on the heavy side (I'll be using a kettlebell, but a dumbbell will work just fine), something to slam/throw with power into the floor (I'll be using a 10-lb slam ball, but a throw pillow thrown with enough force will also work), and an optional aerobic bench (it can all be done on the floor if you don't have one). If you are staying for that extra 15 minutes at the end, grab a jump rope (or two small weights/water bottles to simulate).
💬 Same great workout. One has my music and the other allows you to play your own. - SS
💬 This one was fun - 10 reps at a time is a little easier than going all out for 45 seconds so it was very doable. I enjoyed the combination moves of this one and the little get out of the floor challenge thing. The only "real" cardio happens in the last 15 minutes in the FC45 with a jump rope that is optional if you are doing the B30 version. However, heart rate will be gently elevated during those ball/pillow slams in the B30 section as well. - SS

📌 By adding some instability to our workout today, we will tax our muscles a little differently and ramp up the core work significantly. Are you ready for the challenge?

DBm-h, booty band, step
📌 So yeah, I literally tripped and fell in the class I was recording before this one and almost tripped again in this one!! Just call me Grace. I thought I'd keep it as a good friendly reminder to always be aware of your surroundings when working out and keep your space free of equipment that you're not using :)
💬 This was a great total-body workout with some serious glute burn! 🍑🔥 We hit the glutes a little extra—and, by default, the legs too—so I probably wouldn't do this one back-to-back with another leg workout. I really enjoyed the variety of moves, along with a touch of balance and stability to keep things interesting. I highly recommend using an aerobic step set around 4-6 inches. It's a great height for lying on, doing lunges, elevating the back leg for the Bulgarian split squat/dead row combination. We go through a nice total-body circuit (repeating some exercises), hitting the glutes along the way, and then finish by isolating the glutes one more time before the cool-down. A fun, well-rounded workout with plenty of glute love! 💪🍑 - SS

DBsmh, anchored band, pillow
📌 This great total body circuit needs a few toys: light dumbbells 2-5 libs (can use no weight if you don't have small dbells) - medium dumbbells (for chest flyes) - a heavy weight for a sumo squat (can use two lighter Dbells or body weight) - a band anchored at waist height or below (can use dumbbells and do a bent over row instead) - a lightweight object that you can drop and catch (ball, dog toy, throw pillow, etc). Get out your toys and get ready to move it - move it!!

chest, arms, & ABs
💬 This workout was pure strength and focused entirely on the chest, arms, and abs. 💪 It was the perfect relief for my legs after doing Springing Lunges (legs & back - see below) yesterday! 🙌 I used medium-heavy dumbbells for most of the exercises and switched to a lighter pair for the shoulder raises and circles. Since we're working smaller muscle groups, sweat wasn't much of a factor, but don't let that fool you—my upper body definitely knew it had been worked! A great workout for those days when you want to give your legs a break while still getting in a solid strength session. 🔥

DBsm-h
legs & back
📌 This workout is all about the legs and back. All you need is a set of dumbbells. The size of dumbbells is your choice. I am using a medium set today but could have gone heavier on most of the exercises. If I had gone heavier, I would have still used my mediums or lights on the rear delt flyes :). After you've been strength training a while, you will learn which exercises do better with lighter or heavier weights.
💪🏻
Gentle joint movement for all fitness levels. Great for recovery and range of motion.
Yblock / rolled up towel / stiff pillow
16 min focus on pelvic floor
📌 This workout is great to help strength and stretch the tight pelvic floor area as well as work on low back and core. The hip opening exercises feel amazing.

DBm (no heavy weights - variety in movement)
📌 This fun total body workout incorporates full body movement and maybe a little coordination. Never fear, I will give some modifications that will require less coordination than others. The best part is all you need is your medium dumbbells and maybe something a little smaller. No heavy weights today. Let's move!! It's one of my favs due to the variety of different compound moves. I think you'll love it, too!
💬 I gave this one a trainer heart because of the variety of fun in the kickboxing section. The moves were different and fresh - a great change up! Enjoy!! - SS
💬 Don’t let the title scare you off. Just first section is boxing moves like we've done before. It’s full body engagement with a lot of variety. I used 10 lbs weights and was worn out. This also went SO FAST!! - KC
💬 Fun and different - Made me feel like Im “kickboxing” haha - as always Shelley provides great variety and modifications!!! - JM

DBsm-h, stool (ends with core)
💬 This workout starts with just a litle cardio to get warmed up with, followed by a strength circuit. It ends with about 6-7 minutes of core/ABs (pilates style). So it basically has a little bit of everything! You could even just hit that AB/core section. It was great! You can find it at about 35 minutes in (⏱️ 35:20) . Look for the time stamp direct link in the description. - SS

Kbell or Dbell
Just one dumbbell or kettlebell is all you need for a really great strength workout. 💪🏻 You’ll be doing single-arm overhead presses, so keep that in mind when choosing your weight. It's ok to grab two sizes if your unsure and use both accordingly. The only real “cardio” is kettlebell (or dumbbell) swings, but honestly, those are such a great explosive strength move for the glutes and hammies that I’m counting them in the strength category today. 🔥 You can easily adjust the difficulty by the weight you choose. Most of the workout is done in a 45 second on / 15 second off format so even though it is strength, your heart and lungs will be envoloved. We slow it down at the end and grab some slow strength with no timer. Excellent workout!

📌 Those 8x10 squats just keep showing up like a bad penny!! This is a great total body workout with a little emphasis on those legs :)

KBm-h, band (go heavy since reps are low)
💬 Great workout! The first 15 minutes is all body weight with some good mobility movements. It is followed by some low rep strength exercises done with 1 heavy weight. It flows from one move to the next so the heart rate also gets workout. No time for boredom. I would give it a 💪🏻emoji due to the strength it covers except for the fact that ️❤️🔥is also pumping with that heavy weight. It’s not solely one or the other. I enjoyed it! - SS

KBm-h, chair/bench for dips
💬 Wow! What a workout!! 🔥 We climb a ladder, adding one rung each round, so there is quite a bit of repetition—but the reps stay low, matching the round number (2, 3, 4, etc.). It’s a fun format that keeps you moving and makes the workout fly by. This is a full fitness workout, so expect your heart rate to stay elevated. 💪 You will see exercises like reverse lunges, jacks, burpees (only 2 at a time), squats, push ups, bent over rows, dips, squat and press, deadlift, swings, etc. Great workout... especially when you're done! 😅🙌
