Medicine Wheel

For centuries Indigenous Peoples have used the four directions of the medicine wheel as a tool for learning and teaching. It is used as a guide and tool to help others.

The Medicine Wheel, sometimes known as the Sacred Hoop, has been used by generations of various Native American tribes for health and healing.

The medicine wheel is circular symbol broken into four areas or quadrants. These four areas have four different colors assigned to them, which are most often yellow, red, black, and white. Each quadrant also represents the alignment and continuous interaction of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual realities.
