FINAL LESSON

Honesty, knowledge and wisdom) Truth and Reconciliation (the restoration of friendly relations)

is about being a good friend or neighbour to someone.

Friends understand our past, believe in our future, and accepts us for who we are... as long as we follow

the 7 Grandfather Teachings of...

  • Love. Love is the gift from the Eagle.

  • Respect. Respect is the gift from the Buffalo. ...

  • Courage. The Bear carries courage. ...

  • Honesty. Honesty is carried by the Sabe (Sasquatch). ...

  • Wisdom. The Beaver carries wisdom. ...

  • Humility. The Wolf carries humility. ...

  • Truth. The Turtle carries truth.

If a friend doesn't follow the Grandfather Teachings, good friends do their best to help them learn to be more respectful and kind, for example. Sometimes good friends have to be very courageous and 'do the right' thing by showing their friends tough love.
