Youngsup is appointed as an Overseas Korean Energy Technology Policy Advisory Committee Member of the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP). He also gave a seminar at KETEP-University of Maryland Joint Symposium on Energy Technology.

Working with the Center for Precollegiate Education and Training (CPET), we host K–12 students to engage in research and hands-on scientific experiments. In Summer 2025, we hosted two high school students through the Student Science Training Program (SSTP) for a seven-week research experience.
