โ๏ธ๐ฌ Congratulations to Erol and Craig for successfully completing the Student Science Training Program (SSTP)!
SSTP is a prestigious summer research program that gives high school students the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research at the University of Florida. This summer, Erol and Craig joined the Flux Lab to work on thermal switches. Erol conducted a techno-economic analysis of thermal switch designs, while Craig investigated the impact of surface roughness on thermal contact resistance. Philip served as their primary mentor throughout the program, and Reza provided an excellent introduction to cryogenic phase-change heat transfer and its behavior in microgravity.
