6. Lessons learned...

Diamonds I mined from my game, FLUTTER:

Saving your work:

When I was making the rules I forgot to save my work, and in the morning I accidentally shutdown my computer!

All my hard thought rules were gone and I had to start from scratch :(

From now on, I will always save my documents before I make any changes.

PowerPoint:

While I was making the final, pretty looking prototype, my dad taught me how to use the slide master to make it perfect for printing.

Independent Man:

Hello, I am an Independent Man!!!

I learned to take an idea from notebook to prototype.

I learned to manage time, gain understanding of how long things take, and the value of keeping things simple.

Having a Drive:

I've always enjoyed thinking deeply about ideas.

With this project, I learned how to execute things quickly, efficiently and with a passion!

Taking Creative Input:

I'm always attached to my ideas and want to do them a certain way.

This project has taught me how to keep an open mind and improve my game!

Creating a simple yet effective game is much more difficult than making a complex game. My mentor at Score shared this beautiful quote from Mark Twain “I didn't have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead.”
