XVI Meeting on Recent Advances in Physics of Fluids and its Applications

November 01-05, 2021. Paraná, Argentina.

Abstract submission

Abstract submission will be open from May 10th to July 18th 2021. Acceptance (or otherwise) will be communicated by August 15th 2021. At least one of the authors of accepted contributions must register at the conference before the deadline (October 17th 2021) so that this contribution is included in the program.

Instructions

First, one of the authors should register on our Moodle site (actually, anyone can register, but only one author needs to do so), click on "Log in" (right upper corner), then click on the "Create new account" button and follow the procedure.

Once logged in the site, go to "Site home" (link on the menu on the left), then click on "Contributions" (anyone can self-enrol) and then go to "Abstracts -> Abstract submission form".

To complete the form, you will need the following information (part of it rather obvious):

  • Title of the contribution

  • Language (Spanish, English)

  • Preferred format (Talk, Poster)

  • The abstract itself (up to 3500 characters)

  • The names of the authors

  • The affiliations of the authors

  • The emails of the authors

  • Corresponding author

  • Presenting author

  • Names of authors that will likely register for the conference

  • Will the contribution be eventually submitted as a short paper in case of acceptance of the abstract?

Additional information

Authors of accepted contributions can optionally submit a short paper. Instructions will be posted here.

Please note that, depending on the format chosen, authors will be required to provide

  • a video presentation of 13 minutes (for talks) or

  • a video presentation of 5 minutes + PDF (for posters)

by October 10th 2021. Further instructions here.

The Scientific Committee is planning to award the best student contributions(*). Further instructions will be emailed to authors.

(*) In order to be considered, the first author must be a (credited) student and be the presenting author on the video.
