the pageant of strength and courage
Held during our midharvest celebration, the pageant of strength and courage recognizes St. Michael who inspires humankind to discover inner strength and bravery to meet adversity in the face of our dragon. We celebrate during an all school assembly where the play of St. Michael and the Dragon is performed by all students. We traditionally come together to plant a tree and share stone soup feast and dragon bread. Our families are welcome!
Harvest Festival
We gather as a community of families to enjoy games, tricks and treats, a seasonal meal, a bonfire and a harvest hayride. This gathering offers a safe space for childhood fun and the magic of evening frolic during this festive fundraising event. All are welcome!
Illumination
Flower Farms School honors the light within all of humanity in a truly unique celebration, where we combine the Waldorf traditions of lantern walk and spiral walk in a reverent evening event. Our children, families, and guides gather at dusk. We share the story remember the act of kindness and compassion of St. Martin. We then walk with our lanterns into the night on an illuminated path towards the winter spiral where we gather. Our children complete a lighting ceremony of the spiral and then we complete the illumed path.
Our community is welcome.
