According to Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy (2016), the folowing objectives are aimed at this lesson:
Students will recall recycling rules and symbols after watching the YouTube recycling video and reviewing vocabulary from Lesson 1.
Students will explain, orally or in written captions, the meaning of “Reduce – Reuse – Recycle” using information from the video and web texts.
Students will demonstrate correct recycling practices by completing a chart.
Students will analyze which everyday materials can be recycled and classify them into categories (paper, plastic, metal, organic waste).
Students will judge which personal habits could be changed to become more environmentally friendly and explain their reasoning in small-group discussions.
Students will create a digital infographic stating what we must and mustn’t do as a society to reduce pollution, inspired by content from the video and websites, using Canva or similar tools.

Then, the T will ask ss:
“How can kids help the planet?”
They will predict ideas and the teacher will keep a record on the board.
Students, in pairs, will explore 2 websites:

They will get to know about the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
Students watch the video and answer some comprehension questions:
What does Reduce refer to? What can you reduce?
What does Reuse refer to? Do you reuse things at home?
What does Recycl refer to? Do you recycle at school?
How can we apple the three Rs n our daily lives and take case of our planet.

Quiz: Going green
Students will test how eco-friendly they are and will learn some tips on how to go green and help the environment.
They will learn about recycling habits and good environmental actions.
Then, they will complete the following worksheet:
Identify what people must and musn´t do.
Students will add 5 rules in each column.
The pictures are screenshots from the websites.
Students will participate in a 1-week “Eco-Challenge”:
Learners will use a shared Google Doc or Padlet to:
Upload pictures showing eco-friendly actions they complete at home or school (e.g., recycling bottles, turning off lights, using reusable bags).
Write short captions explaining their actions using target vocabulary.
Then, students will compile a class “Green Gallery” slideshow or Padlet wall showing their photos and captions. This will reinforce language use while promoting real-world environmental responsibility.
