TOPIC:
Physical descriptions
Procedure:
(This lesson plan is aimed at students being able to exhibit the competences acquired in previous lessons. It will be done individually.)
Warm up:
Guessing game: The teacher will show students some cartoon style images. She will start describing one of them and students will have to guess which picture the teacher is describing.
ACTIVITY 1:
In pairs. Think of a celebrity you like. How would you describe him/ her?
Make sentences regarding the physical description.
Share the sentences with the class.
Elicit the key adjectives used to describe physical appearence.
The pictures were taken from The Billiboard online page.
ACTIVITY 2
Let`s try the AI tool!
Select a picture of a celebrity you like, create a cartoon out of it and customize it.
Homework:
Share the image with your classmates.
They will have to discover who is it and describe it.
(Each student will be assign a peer to do this task)
Wrap up:
Who is it?: The teacher will use the AI tool to create new pics of celebreities using the customizing features. The T will make those celebrities look like superheroes/ workers / etc. Sts will look at the pictures made and try to guess who it is.
