This year, the Flint Hill Classics Club continued our traditional Saturnalia celebrations, which involve both the middle and upper school and are always a lot of fun. On Friday, December 8th, we began the festivities with our Upper School Saturnalia party during Office Hours. Students gave presentations on topics ranging from weird college majors to Harry Potter to Dungeons and Dragons while enjoying snacks and fellowship. In addition to this, each of the officers gave a presentation on their office, sparking interest in running for office in the future among younger students. Following this, we headed over to the Middle School for a party with White Elephant and Street Certamen. Finally, the officers held a Secret Saturn (Secret Santa). Io Saturnalia!
