VJCL 2022

The Flint Hill delegation traveled down to Richmond to attend the Virginia Junior Classical League convention, one of the most anticipated events of the year. Activities at this event included spirit, service projects, academic testing, and more! Flint Hill students did very well on academic tests, scoring a total of 9 first place awards, 7 second place awards, and 4 third place awards. Two students also scored in the top ten for Decathlon, a rigorous, 100-question test. In the Graphic Arts competitions, Flint Hill scored a total of 3 first place awards, 4 second place awards, and 1 third place award. As a school, we got second place in spirit for large delegations, second place in overall publicity, and first place in the T-shirt competition. Additionally, we had 3 students place for overall sweepstakes and 2 best in show awards for academics! Great job everyone!
