This week I worked on programming the core gameplay mechanics demo of SelfReflection. I mainly focused on the player movements and I also collaborated with Jacky and Kaifeng to put our code together for the demo. Other than that I set up the GitHub repo and Unity project.
I created a new shader called corruption shader, which allows textures to appear corrupted. Furthermore, I redesigned the whole demo level from scratch and added a modular corruption manager system, which can determine programmatically which parts of the level to corrupt. Besides this I also contributed to the project by adding more textures and models.
