The Statewide Science Assessment measures student achievement of Florida's State Academic Standards in science. Students in grades 5 and 8 participate in the Statewide Science assessments.

What students will take the Statewide Science Assessments?
Students enrolled in grades 5 and 8 will participate in the Statewide Science Assessments. Additionally, students enrolled in accelerated instruction have the opportunity to participate in the appropriate assessment above grade level. Students may not participate in an assessment below their enrolled grade level.
