Cranium and facial bones are very similar in anatomy being all part of the skull. These are both taken with a grid. Because of these similarities the kVp of these images is quite similar both being in the 75-80kVp range. We used the abdomen kVp as a baseline for the projections and adjusted based on anatomy of interest.
*AP Townes Cranium
This Image of the cranium/skull is well done because we can see the entire frontal portion of the cranium and the petrous ridges are symmetrical indicating no rotation.

*Lateral Facial Bone
This Image of the facial bones is good because we can see the entire mandible Included In this image. There is no tilt because there is no separation between the superior and inferior orbital plates.
