The objective of this project is to create a fixed kVp technique chart using our prior knowledge and resources like Bontrager, to find optimal technique to create the best x-ray image possible. In doing this we will create a standardization of exposure and in turn improve image consistency.
We will use our previous lab reports from last semester and this semester to help us find optimal techniques for projections of multiple body parts. For the ones we do not know, we will use proportional anatomy to compare and get a baseline to experiment what the optimal technique would be. We will also use our technique chart given to us and Bontrager's technique ranges as an idea for what technique could look like and adjust based on the DI value. We will have a set kVp per anatomy and adjust mAs for different projections as needed to get a DI value +/- 0.5.
