Sycamore & Cherry · Approx. 16" × 8"
A sculptural leaf-shaped serving board made primarily from sycamore, with a slender curved lamination of cherry forming the central vein. The cherry follows the natural sweep of the leaf from stem to tip while the sycamore provides beautiful grain and figure throughout the body.
Cherry, Walnut & Maple · Approx. 19" × 11"
A clean, contemporary composition of three classic American hardwoods. A broad field of cherry is accented by dark walnut and lighter maple, allowing the natural colors and grain of the woods to provide the design. The dimensions are based off of the Fibanaci Sequence, aka the Golden Ratio.
California Claro Walnut · Approx. 20" × 5"
Handcrafted from locally sourced California Claro walnut from a tree along the river, this serving paddle is designed to hold four drinks. Four recessed positions create a clean presentation for beer, whiskey, wine or cocktail tastings. A sculpted handle and leather hanging loop finish the piece. A Bottle opener is motised into the bottom of the board.
Cherry, Maple & California Claro Walnut · Approx. 19" × 13"
One of the statement pieces of the collection. Cherry, maple and locally sourced California Claro walnut are combined into a broad serving surface, while flowing laminated ribbons weave through the lower portion and continue into the sculpted handle. The Claro walnut came from a local tree along the river, giving this one-of-a-kind piece an added local connection.
Cherry, Walnut & Maple · Approx. 17" × 8"
Cherry, walnut and maple meet in an asymmetric composition of curved hardwood laminations. The contrasting ribbons cross and separate across the board, creating movement while still allowing the individual grain and color of each species to show.
Mahogany, Sycamore & Purpleheart · Approx. 21" × 6"
Mahogany, sycamore and purpleheart weave through this one-of-a-kind serving paddle in a flowing pattern that runs nearly the entire length of the piece. The contrasting hardwoods are individually laminated into the board, crossing and separating to create the woven effect. A sculpted handle and hanging hole make it easy to display when not in use.
Ambrosia Maple · Approx. 15½" × 6"
A compact serving paddle handcrafted from ambrosia maple. Natural streaking and color variation give the pale maple plenty of character, while the shaped handle and hanging hole make it equally attractive in use or on display.
Ambrosia Maple · Approx. 22" × 11"
Two matching sections of ambrosia maple are bookmatched to create a mirrored grain pattern across this large, lightweight serving board. Natural ambrosia streaking adds dark organic lines throughout the pale maple. Its thinner profile keeps the board light despite its generous serving area.
Cherry, Walnut & Maple · Approx. 17" × 6"
A slender serving board combining cherry, walnut and maple in a sweeping curved composition. The dark walnut ribbon moves organically through the lighter hardwood, giving a simple serving shape considerably more movement and character.
Ambrosia Maple · Approx. 9" × 8"
A playful apple-shaped serving board handcrafted from ambrosia maple. The dark mineral-colored streaks running through the pale maple are natural markings associated with former insect activity in the living tree, giving every piece of ambrosia maple its own distinctive character.
Sycamore
Approx. 17" × 6"
A slender, organically shaped serving board with sweeping curves and a distinctive handmade profile. Its narrow proportions make it ideal for cheeses, bread, appetizers or a smaller charcuterie presentation.

This is one of a kind. Walnut and cherry flanked by quarter-sawn sycamore with a live edge and bark. The shape is really unique and it naturaly tapers like the tree grew. Finished with my Board Butter, mineral oil, beeswax, lemon oil.

Cherry and Maple are a classic pairing. The colors only get richer with time. This chunky board gives plenty of room to prepare a meal for the whole group.
The big three in domestic hardwoods for cutting boards. This piece showcases the various tones of brown in the walnut on the ends and the interesting medullary ray patterns on the cherry and maple.
This board has a stripe of purpleheart, a hardwood from Central America that is vivid purple. I rounded the corners to give it a softer look. Finished with mineral oil and beeswax.
Give this to the cook who needs size and bulk. The long length allows plenty of room for carving and arranging all your favorite meats. Let me know if you'd like me to put feet and/or a juice groove on it. At an inch and two-thirds, it might be the thickest board I've ever made. Great for carving meat. Let me know if you'd like me to add handles and/or a juice groove. Some people don't like them.

Where art and function converge.
This board keeps the natural edge of the tree intact, letting the original shape guide the final piece. I like leaving that connection to the tree visible—it gives each board its own identity.
Finished with a food-safe oil, it’s ready to be used right away—for serving, display, or everyday use. Pieces like this tend to find their place quickly in a kitchen.
