I. INTRODUCTION
WHAT IS ASSESSMENT?
Educational assessment is the process of collecting and analyzing evidence of learning in different settings and contexts. It helps teachers, students, parents, and other stakeholders understand what learners know and can do, as well as identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTUC OF GOOD ASSESSMENT?
Clear targets: Provide clear descriptions of specific achievement expectations to be assessed
Focused purpose: Clarify the intended uses of the assessment results.
WHY IS IMPORTANT TO HAVE FAIR ASSESSMENT TO STUDENTS?
Fair assessment can make the difference between students getting the grade they deserve and a grade that does not reflect their knowledge and skills.
WHAT IS FEEDBACK?
The purpose of feedback in the assessment and learning process is to improve a student's performance.
WHAT IS CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK?
Constructive feedback is a supportive way to improve areas of opportunity for an individual person, team, relationship, or environment.
II. OBSERVATION TOOL
A. TYPE OF ASSESSMENT
Name of Teacher: Alvin Pelayo
School Address: Dr. Felipe Jesus National High School

C. PROCESS OF ASSESSMENT
D. CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACKING
After my class in the cookery lab, my cooperating teacher gave me feedback. Feedback that will help me become a better student teacher. My performance in the cookery lab was good because my students were able to make the sandwich I was making. So that's one of my strong points said my cooperating teacher.
III. SYNOPSIS
A. TYPE OF ASSESSMENT
Diagnostic assessment can help identify the students’ current knowledge of a subject, their skill sets and capabilities, and to clarify misconceptions before teaching takes place. Knowing students’ strengths and weaknesses can help you better plan what to teach and how to teach it. Formative assessment provides feedback and information during the instructional process, while learning is taking place, and while learning is occurring. Formative assessment measures student progress but it can also assess your own progress as an instructor. For example, when implementing a new activity in class, you can, through observation and or surveying the students, determine whether or not the activity should be used again. A primary focus of formative assessment is to identify areas that may need improvement. These assessments typically are not graded and act as a gauge to students’ learning progress and to determine teaching effectiveness.
B. ASSESSMENT TOOLS/ INSTRUMENTS
In order to ensure that all students are evaluated using the same standards and criteria, rubrics offer specific guidelines and standards for assessing subjective assessments. This encourages uniformity and truthfulness in grading, lowering the possibility of bias or the grader's subjective interpretation.
C. PROCESS OF ASSESSMENT
According to what I've observed, balance is tested at Dr. Felipe Jesus National High School. because every test item has a connection to the lesson that the teachers have imparted. I also noticed that a large majority of the pupils had high test scores. It just indicates that the learners are making progress.
D. CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK
Constructive criticism is sandwiched between the positives to offer suggestions for growth without overpowering the positives, while positive feedback at the beginning and end of the feedback sandwich emphasizes the student's efforts and strengths. By focusing on areas for improvement, this method assists in preserving the student's drive and self-assurance.
IV. INTEGRATION OF LEARNING
V. LEARNING ARTIFACTS
This is my most Pre Final Demo, my topic is Five types of Personal Protective Equipment. Students should know and see why we need to protect ourselves and avoid any accidents
Here I did a role play with the students about the Important Safety Precautions for the Workplace that they have to present in front of how they should do it.
In the activity, I made the students draw based on the discussion I taught and I gave them rubrics on how I would grade them.
