FIRST is not only about robots and competition, but it is also about reaching out to help spread STEM awareness through our local community and beyond.
We understand it is important to help out in your community throughout the year. Our club has been involved in a number of outreach opportunities since its conception and continues to find more ways to reach out into the community. Here are some examples of this team reaching out into our community to support STEM education and bring the exciting world of robotics to the youth around us.
Here is our team volunteering to host an FTC Qualifier this year. We hosted the qualifier in our school gymnasium, and all of the members of the team volunteered to help prepare the fields and the pits. We are also hosting another FTC qualifying tournament in January of this year.
