Mr. Corey Simmins
Advisor Since 2006
simmins_c@fairfieldcityschools.com
These elected officers above and on the side represent the leadership that drives the day to day operations of Fairfield's National Honor Society.
The five officers below represent the students who diligently run the tutoring center two days a week for over 30 weeks of the school year. They dedicatedly give their time to assist their fellow classmates with their studies.
Fairfield NHS opted for co-presidents in the last couple of years and dropped the vice-president title. This acknowledges the responsibility that both officers must share when leading a chapter of the National Honor Society.
Furthermore, the community service coordinator tracks and records the hours of service performed while the social media coordinator must publicize the good works of Fairfield's NHS members.
The Fairfield chapter of the National Honor Society has tutors on site Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-3:30 ready to assist any and all academic needs. These dedicated officers not only help with tests and homework, but they also help students prepare for the ACT, EOCs, and AP exams.
Only a senior can be co-president.
All other positions are open for all.
