Vivian studied journalism and media at Lehman College graduating in 2010. She contributed to her college newspaper for two years consecutively. Through her experiences later in life her passion has always been to help others in the realm of mental health. She is a 5 year member currently a part of the Welcome Center and has recently discovered her talent for drawing and painting.

Richard contributes to the blog by offering topics on what the blog should talk about on its platform. He also assists by providing poetry to the poetry and prose section of the blog. He looks forward to making this blog a mainstay and prominent piece of Fountain House endeavors.

Samene enjoys following trends in hair and makeup. Along with that, she is an avid NBA fan and enjoys all genres of music.


The marvelous Wendy has worked with the blog building team since its inception. She enjoys writing and editing. Also, she has a passion for fashion and style.

Cynthia started to use writing and photography to cope with various mental health and personal challenges. Her art has been featured in the Fountain House gallery. Cynthia continues to hone her skills.

A former theatre artist, Dina trusts in the power of creative expression for exploration, discovery, meaning-making, and embodiment. She enjoys spending her time in and among the nature world.
