Explain to parents that high school students are assigned to a counselor for all four years (unless they transfer to a new school).
Connect them to their child's counselor concerning questions or credits.
Do not talk to parents about specifics of their child's credits. There may be conversations or plans that the counselor has in place that we are unaware of. Always connect the parent to their child's counselor for specific information.
Help transfer students who may have credits from other countries. Connect with the school's Registrar and offer to help.

Talk to your student's school counselor about Concurrent Enrollment so that they can recieve college credits for the GTI classes. If the student takes GTI classes without Concurrent Enrollment, they are recieving high school credits alone and will not receive the certification. They call this "extension class."
